The Intellectual Property Law Colloquium offers the opportunity for students to engage with cutting-edge scholarship on issues of copyright, trademark, and patent law. The colloquium is structured around a series of weekly guest speakers who will present papers. Students will be expected to read the speakers' papers in advance, prepare questions, and participate actively in the discussion. There will also be short writing assignments during the semester. Though there are no pre-requisites, given the nature of the course, prior course work in intellectual property law or other relevant experience is desirable.
