The Need for Health Lawyers is Growing
Health care accounts for more than 15% of the gross domestic product of the United States, and the need for attorneys with a comprehensive understanding of the field is strong and expected to grow. Health care lawyers work in private practices, government, corporations, hospitals, non-profits, public interest groups, and associations, and a variety of other settings. Their clients include physicians, patients, hospitals and health care systems, health maintenance organizations, health insurers, managed care companies, nursing facilities, home care providers, and community groups.
