Mentor students and receive benefits of the Alumni Association

All Brooklyn Law School alumni are automatically enrolled in the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association upon graduation. We encourage all graduates to actively participate by providing mentorship to current students or getting involved in the Alumni Association.

Mentorship Program

The Brooklyn Law School Alumni Mentor Program pairs alumni with students who are particularly interested in their mentors' field of practice, offering an invaluable opportunity to complement and enhance the students' law school experience. We match over 120 students with lawyers practicing in a broad range of areas including antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate, entertainment, immigration, intellectual property, litigation, taxation, human rights, real estate, family law, criminal prosecution and criminal defense.

Alumni participants not only offer their mentees career advice on a variety of topics, but also include them at various work related activities and local networking events for the bar. For more information on the mentorship program, please contact alumni@brooklaw.edu or (718) 780-7505.

Remote Alumni Advisors

Brooklyn Law School Remote Alumni Advisors is a group of alumni who are serving as remote mentors, coaches, or sounding boards for our students.

Women's Leadership Network

The Women’s Leadership Network creates meaningful opportunities that connect and empower women in law through mentorship, networking, programming and philanthropy. The Network also seeks to create an inclusive community that strengthens the voices and leadership of women in the legal profession and to raise the awareness of issues facing women and society.

Alumni Admissions Board

The Alumni Admissions Board serves as an integral part of the admissions process. Board members reach out to admitted students to provide advice, insight, and answer questions. Serving as an Alumni Admissions Board member is a great way to stay connected to the School even if you do not live near the campus. We are always looking for graduates to serve as Admissions Board members, especially those who are practicing outside of the New York area.

As more and more of our students come from out-of-state, we are increasingly seeing requests to speak to alums who attended Brooklyn Law School but moved back home to practice in another state after law school. Please contact the Admissions Office to join the Alumni Admissions Board: admitq@brooklaw.edu or (718) 780-7906.

Alumni Association

All Brooklyn Law School alumni are automatically enrolled in the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association, offering you an array of complimentary membership benefits. Enjoy access to the Law School library, exclusive discounts from various retailers, and special offers, such as discounted tickets to select Brooklyn Nets games and other events at the Barclays Center.

To further enhance your alumni experience, we recommend joining the Brooklyn Law School Alumni LinkedIn Group to connect with fellow alumni and stay engaged with our vibrant community.
