Food and Drug Law

This course will focus on the statutes, regulations and philosophical underpinnings that govern the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's regulation of foods, drugs, cosmetics and medical devices. The course will also include discussion of other federal and state agencies that affect the manufacture, distribution and promotion of these products, as well as the effect that technology and products liability have on this area of the law.

Grading and Method of Evaluation

Letter grade with pass/fail option. Final exam.
