Warren H. Hyman, who is currently retired and living in Bayside, NY celebrated his 87th birthday in July 2013. Hyman enjoyed a lengthy career working as the trial commission for the New York Department of Corrections, where he presided over disciplinary trials. He was also a member of the faculty at Baruch College, City University of New York for over 18 years, where he taught law courses at Baruch's graduate school of business and published several law review articles. Samuel P. Sporn, founder and partner of the securities law firm of Schoengold & Sporn, P.C., became a member of The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in Israel in July 2013 for the sport of tennis. Sporn also won a silver medal in the Grand Masters Tennis tournament at the 19th Maccabi Games in Israel in July 2013, bringing his total medal count to 14 gold, silver and bronze medals in 11 international Maccabi Games. Sporn also serves as the USA Chairman and Co-Chairman of Masters and Grand Masters Tennis and is an Executive Committee Member of Maccabi USA and is the oldest living competitor in these tournaments. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty of Brooklyn Law School where he teaches a civil practice workshop. (11/8/2013)
