Throughout the academic year, the Law School hosts many interdisciplinary symposia, lectures, panel discussions and academic programs that address a wide range of challenging and topical legal issues. Our incredible location at a global center of commerce, media, and the arts allows us to draw a distinguished roster of speakers to the campus.
Whether the subject is the privatization of the U.S. financial markets, influenza pandemic, the confidentiality of the press, or bioethics and conflict resolution surrounding end-of-life care, the goal of these events is to promote scholarship and deepen our understanding of law and policy in the United States and around the world. Our programs provide an important source of enrichment and are a key element of our students’ academic success.
Events are open to the outside legal community and alumni of the Law School. Many of our programs offer an opportunity to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.
