Crain's New York recently interviewed Larry Silverstein '55, the developer overseeing the rebuilding the World Trade Center. After years of skepticism from politicians, insurance companies, and the press, the new buildings are steadily being leased and occupied and the construction of 1 World Trade Center is well under way. He describes the difficult process of building on such hallowed ground: "I don't need vindication. It is good to be here and enjoy the fruits of my labors."
