Four BLS students will be the first interns for the New York State Bar Association's real property law section next fall. They will be working closely with prominent firms in the field, including Gallet Dreyer & Berkey and the First American Title Insurance Company of New York, to gain practical real estate law experience.
Professor Debra Bechtel teaches the Transactional and Community Development Practicum, which the students will take concurrently with their internships. She told the New York Law Journal, “It really gives students a chance to get into a law firm and see what's going on in a transactional practice.”
