rooklyn Law School is committed to helping students meet their educational expenses. The intellectual ability, overall talent and diversity of the student body are crucial to our success and yours. The financial aid program at Brooklyn Law School provides assistance to those students who cannot meet the cost of their education from their own resources.
Financial assistance is available in the form of scholarships, fellowships, research assistantships, need-based grants, Federal loans, Federal Work-Study, and private loans. Financial aid comes from several public and private sources and is granted on the basis of need and academic merit.
Every year, the Financial Aid office publishes a comprehensive guide to financial aid at Brooklyn Law School, How to Finance Your Legal Education (PDF). You may download your copy here, or contact the Financial Aid Office to request a printed copy. We encourage you to read all of the information about financial aid found on our Web site and in our guides. Most Brooklyn Law School students are eligible for some form of financial assistance. With careful planning, you can find a way to finance your legal education that works for you.
If you are planning to attend Summer Classes, you must submit a separate Financial Aid Application for Summer 2008 (PDF) and follow the Financing Summer Classes 2008 procedure (PDF).
