The Brooklyn Law School Legacy Society

The Brooklyn Law School Legacy Society, established in 2003, honors an extraordinary group of alumni and friends who have made the Law School a beneficiary of a bequest, trust or other planned gift. The Law School thanks the alumni and friends who have the foresight to include the Law School in their estate plans. With their permission, Legacy Society members are listed in the Law School’s annual report and other publications.

Planned gifts are critical to the Law School. They help us build endowment, fund capital improvements, and underwrite projects of particular importance to the Law School. Such gifts can take many forms. In addition to bequest intentions, they include charitable remainder trusts, retained life estates, charitable lead trusts, and gifts of life insurance or retirement plan assets.

Membership in the Legacy Society is open to anyone who has made such a future commitment, regardless of the donor's age or the amount of the gift. If you have already arranged such a gift, we ask you to let us know so that you may be enrolled in the Society. If you would like more information, please call (718) 780-7564.
