Brooklyn Law School Class of 2009 Gift
The Class of 2009 Gift is a way to leave a legacy.  It honors our time at the Law School and marks our transition from law students to alumni.  Every student’s legal education has been impacted in some way by alumni philanthropy.  As new members of Brooklyn Law School alumni, we want to continue that tradition by showing our support for Brooklyn Law School.  Graduates who make a gift of $25.00 or more will receive a Class of 2009 t-shirt.

Help a Tree Grow in Brooklyn – Class of 2009 Gift

The 2009 Class Gift Committee chose to leave our mark with a tangible gift to the Law School that would have an immediate, visible, and lasting impact on the BLS community.  We also want to assist the continuing efforts to make Brooklyn Law School a greener environment.  We have chosen to plant trees in the courtyard area in front of the library building.  This will not only help to beautify the school, but it will also demonstrate to the larger Brooklyn community our commitment to the Law School and the environment.

Class Gift Campaign Goal and Gift Recognition

The Class Gift Committee has set a goal of raising $7,000 to cover the costs of purchasing and planting the trees in the courtyard.  A gift of any amount counts towards the participation rate and will show your support for our Law School.  Despite the tough economic times, we believe that now, more than ever, it is important for us to show support for our Law School and future students.

In recognition of your contribution to the Class of 2009 Gift, your name will be included on the list of supporters in the Commencement program distributed at the ceremony.  Your name will also be included in Brooklyn Rising, Brooklyn Law School’s 2009 Annual Giving Report, which is distributed to our entire alumni community.
