CUBE’s Three Core Functions:
CUBE was created to leverage the Law School’s core strengths in clinical and business law education and proximity to the vibrant Brooklyn startup community. The center enhances the Law School by providing effective legal representation and support for entrepreneurial ventures in the private sector. CUBE programming enables Brooklyn Law School to maximize opportunities to educate and train law students to be effective lawyers and advisors to entrepreneurs through a combination of practical experience and rigorous academic coursework.
CUBE Faculty
CUBE's faculty brings diverse expertise from the public and private sectors and academia, and offers its students unique mentorship and training in providing optimum legal services to entrepreneurs and startups.
Annual CUBE Innovators Invitational
The Stanley M. Grossman Innovators Invitational at CUBE is a legal tech startup competition open to all law school students throughout New York. Teams of up to five law students will compete for $12,000 to launch their legal tech venture.

CUBE Certificate
CUBE’s Certificate in Entrepreneurship Law focuses on legal issues surrounding entrepreneurship and preparing to represent new ventures for startups and growing commercial companies. CUBE-supported courses provide students with a road map to tailor their educations to a business-oriented curriculum that will support a career in the entrepreneurial sector.
CUBE Clinics
CUBE-affiliated clinics give students the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, enabling students to engage directly in Brooklyn’s energetic entrepreneurial communities while studying to be dynamic lawyers, advisors and participants in these sectors. Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic (BLIP) specializes in advising startup companies; Corporate and Real Estate Clinic provides legal representation to low- income cooperatives; and Community Development Clinic (CDC) represents community development corporations, cultural institutions, and affordable housing providers.

CUBE Consultation Center
The CUBE Consultation Center offers students valuable practice experience providing counsel to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Students work under the supervision of alumni and faculty, and alongside community partners including NYC Business Solutions and the Carroll Gardens Association.
