Welcoming Veterans to Brooklyn Law School
The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. Yellow Ribbon allows law schools and other institutions of higher learning to partially or fully fund tuition and fees. It is designed to provide additional financial support in conjunction with the Post 9-11/GI Bill®.
As part of an expanded commitment to support veterans, Brooklyn Law School will substantially increase scholarship support for students who have served in the nation’s armed forces beginning in the fall of 2024. The initiative will ensure full-tuition support for veterans qualifying under the Yellow Ribbon Program. In addition to the tuition benefit, the VA also provides a substantial stipend which may cover living expenses for the academic year. If additional funds are needed, Yellow Ribbon recipients may still apply for federal student loans.
