Understanding tuition and expenses

Because Brooklyn Law School offers the flexibility of full-time 3-year and part-time 4-year J.D. programs, as well as LL.M. and joint degree options, annual costs will vary between these different options.

All J.D. students must earn a minimum of 85 credits to graduate, and standard tuition covers those 85 credits, plus an additional optional 3 free credits for a total of 88 credits.

Your actual cost for housing, living expenses, books, and transportation could be significantly less than the amounts listed above. Students who take loans are encouraged to borrow the minimum amount necessary to meet their basic educational needs. Our Financial Aid team is here to help you navigate and understand your choices.
