Why recruit Brooklyn Law School students?
Access our talented pool of students and graduates through job listings, campus interviews, and events.
Brooklyn Law School attracts highly qualified students from the most prestigious undergraduate institutions, and our alumni network of graduates extends worldwide. Our students and graduates have long been sought after and praised by employers for their excellent work ethic and preparedness for legal practice. We pride ourselves on our accomplished and motivated student body and we offer many opportunities throughout the year for employers to meet with potential candidates for hire.
Post a Job
Register with our Symplicity password-protected database, and your job listing will appear within 48 hours. When submitting an open position, you may request that we collect application materials on your behalf, or instruct candidates to send their materials to you directly. We also accept confidential listings.
Alternatively, you may submit a job listing through our online form.
On-Campus Interviewing
We invite employers to participate in interviews on-campus through our Fall On-Campus Interviewing (Fall OCI) Program, or throughout the school year. The Fall OCI Program is sponsored in two interviewing sessions—an early interview week in late-July, and the regular season from mid- August through October. We do not use a lottery system, so the choice of interviewing candidates is all yours. We are currently hosting interviews via video conferencing technology, and we can also collect resumes for you from interested students and send them to you in one package.
You may register and request your interview date through Symplicity or by using our online registration form. You will receive a confirmation by email.
Programs, Workshops, and Receptions
Discover Your Passion
Discover Your Passion is a virtual series in which attorneys from a wide range of practice areas speak about their background, their path from law school, as well as what their day-to-day entails. The goal of the program is to offer students the opportunity to learn about and explore a variety of practice areas and hear from different practitioners.
Career Fair
The Career Fair is an ideal way for your organization to connect with our talented law students and graduates seeking summer internships and full-time employment. This informal table-talk event will allow you to showcase your organization and chat with recent graduates and upper-class students in a casual setting. The program is suited for both employers that have summer internships and post-grad full-time opportunities. The focus of the career fair is on private-sector employers.
Employer Information Sessions
Information sessions can take place in person or virtually on Zoom. We recommend a 60-minute time slot for each event. Coordination, scheduling, and marketing included.
For more information on the above events or to engage with Brooklyn Law Students, please contact Val Kapitula, Manager of Employer Engagement val.kapitula@brooklaw.edu.
Policy of Non-Discrimination
Brooklyn Law School is committed to a policy of equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in the education and employment of all qualified persons, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, race, religion, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital status or parental status in its admission or employment policies or in access to any of its educational, financial aid or other programs. The facilities and resources of the Career Development Center are available only to employers whose practices are consistent with this policy.
