WINNERS OF THE 9TH ANNUAL STANLEY M. GROSSMAN INNOVATORS INVITATIONAL AT THE CENTER FOR URBAN BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP (CUBE)

The Center for Urban Business and Entrepreneurship (CUBE) at Brooklyn Law School invited New York area law school students to compete in its 9th annual Stanley M. Grossman Innovators Invitational on April 14, 2022 to help launch legal tech ventures. Thirteen teams from Brooklyn Law School, CUNY Law School, Pace Law School, and Touro Law Center pitched their legal technology startups to an esteemed panel of judges to compete for $15,000 in prize money to launch their ventures.

Project description: Access to Justice Project, a low-cost, mobile-friendly web application meant to help low-income tenants and their advocates in Westchester address habitability issues.

ESI NFT Licenses

Team Members: Don Irwin and Moritz Stilz

Project description: A web application for NFT artists and creators to assemble IP license terms into a customized IP license, which will then itself be hosted fully on the Ethereum blockchain.

Court Conscious

Team Members: Jessica Flaherty and Shayna Goldberg

Project description: This program seeks to to help further accountability in our judicial system by creating open access to credible information tracking a wide spectrum of courtroom data.
