Drafting for the Bar Exam and Prof Pract
This course is designed to help second and third-year law students enhance their legal drafting skills and become adept at writing for the bar exam and the legal profession. Throughout the semester, students will participate in a series of assignments, discussions, editing exercises, and small-group collaborative work aimed at improving their drafting skills and acquainting them with some of the more frequently tested substantive areas on the bar exam. Students will meet with their professor one-on-one for detailed and individualized feedback that will address students' strengths and weaknesses, their writing strategies in different contexts, their personal learning styles and executive functioning skills, and their potential to employ various strategies for greater success. This is a two-credit course that satisfies the Additional Upper-Level Writing Requirement.Links to an external site.[1]
