Path to Racial Equity: The Question of Affirmative Action and the AAPI Perspective
In Celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Brooklyn Law School is hosting and co-sponsoring a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a program from 6 to 8 p.m. The program will include a panel discussion moderated by Hon. L. Austin D’Souza, Judge of the New York City Civil Court, Kings County, and Commissioner of the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission.
Panelists include Professor Louis Jim of Brooklyn Law School, Professor Joy Kanwar of Brooklyn Law School, Professor Thomas H. Lee of Fordham Law School, and Professor Vinay Harpalani of University of New Mexico School of Law.
The Dean of Brooklyn Law School David D. Meyer will also bring greetings for the program, and Professor Shirley Lin will provide the keynote address. This will be both a court and community event and, as such, members of the legal community and community groups will be invited to attend.
