Andrew Rausa ’13 Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 List

Andrew Rausa ’13 has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Law and Policy list for his work at Facebook. Rausa serves as advertising and privacy counsel at the social media giant’s Menlo Park, CA office, where he moved after being recruited by Facebook in May 2016. There, he works with the company’s product, engineering, and business teams.

Rausa’s first job after graduating from the Law School was at Undertone, an advertising technology company. He served as corporate counsel and senior privacy manager and worked on the $180 million sale of Undertone to Perion in 2015.

Rausa credits his success to his experience at the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic (BLIP) and mentorship from Professor Jonathan Askin.

“BLIP provided me with invaluable practical experience counseling tech companies, and Professor Askin taught me that there are alternatives to the traditional path for young attorneys looking to have an impact,” Rausa said.
