Brooklyn Law School Voted #2 Best Overall Law School in New York Law Journal
Brooklyn Law School placed second in a reader poll of Best Overall Law Schools in the New York Law Journal Best of 2017 magazine, published on Sept. 25. NYU School of Law placed first, while St. John’s University Law School took the third spot. This is the first year the Law Journal included the Best Overall Law School category in the annual survey of the legal community.
The Law School’s LL.M. program placed second in the Best General LL.M. Program category. NYU School of Law was first in the category, with Fordham Law placing third.
The LL.M. program also was named to the Law Journal’s “Best of Hall of Fame” for placing first or second in the best LL.M. program category in the last four years.
“This “Best of” ranking is further recognition by the legal community that Brooklyn Law School is in the forefront of legal education and educating our students to lead and succeed in a rapidly changing world of law,” said Dean Nick Allard. “We take pride in the achievements of our graduates who bring tremendous distinction to this law school. It is especially gratifying to receive such a strong market indicator of 'customer satisfaction.'”
The New York Law Journal Best of 2017 (formerly known as Reader Rankings) is a magazine supplement that lists the winners in more than 70 categories primarily related to private firms and other companies connected to the business and practice of law.
