Brooklyn Law School Named a Top 50 "Go-To Law School"
Brooklyn Law School has once again been named as one of 50 “Go-To Law Schools” in the nation in an annual ranking that appeared on Law.com, the online arm of The National Law Journal and the New York Law Journal. This ranking identifies the top 50 law schools with the highest percentage of 2018 J.D. graduates hired as first-year associates at the nation’s 100 largest law firms. Brooklyn Law School ranked 47 with 10 percent of its graduates at big firms.
Brooklyn Law School also was among the top law schools that saw their alumni promoted to partner in 2018, placing 27th in the nation on that list with 13 newly minted partners.
“We take great pride in the fact that so many of our alumni are sought after and hired by the largest law firms in the country,” said Interim Dean Maryellen Fullerton. “It is also no surprise that, once hired by these firms, our alumni go on to succeed at the highest levels. They bring great distinction to our law school and continue to make us a ‘go-to school’ across diverse areas of the legal profession.”
