Full-time South Florida alumni and snowbirds alike are invited to a Miami reception on Feb. 24, where guests can cheer on Brooklyn Law School’s recent successes and accomplishments, and listen to President and Joseph Crea Dean David D. Meyer’s vision for the future.
The event, to be held from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature the dean in conversation with special guest Sandy Hausner ’85 , a lawyer turned entrepreneur and philanthropist who was a guest speaker at this year’s Business Boot Camp. He and the dean will focus on the theme, “Reinvigorating Student Success at Brooklyn Law.” After a year of record success in fundraising, including three new endowed professorships and more than $350,000 raised for our Bar Exam Prep Fund, Meyer will share details of our student accomplishments, and explain how faculty and alumni united to achieve our highest bar exam passage and job placement rates in more than a decade.
Small bites and drinks will be provided with special thanks to Roger Slade '88, and our gracious host firm, Haber Law, located in the Wynwood section of Miami, at 251 NW 23 St.
